Working toward a healthy smile can involve more than checkups and regular brushing and flossing at home. Sometimes teeth need a little help to be the best they can be, and achieving a bright, white smile is easier than ever thanks to cosmetic dentistry with Carol Pacheco D.D.S.
What Is Cosmetic Dentistry?
Cosmetic dentistry is the label given to any type of dental procedure or practice that improves the appearance of a smile. You can have incredibly healthy teeth and gums but still look in the mirror and wish your teeth were a little straighter or that your teeth were a little whiter. That’s where cosmetic dentistry can make all the difference!
We believe in providing our patients with beautiful, straight teeth just as much as we do in helping them maintain good oral health. With our cosmetic dental treatments, you will be well on your way to aesthetically pleasing teeth in no time.

Teeth Whitening
Our teeth whitening will work toward brightening any smile. Teeth are porous and can easily stain, especially when we eat or drink items with staining qualities like coffee or soda.
Choose from two types of teeth whitening: in-office BleachBright or take-home Opalescence. Both types of whitening penetrate below the enamel of your teeth where the oxygen molecules from the whitening agent react with the discolored molecules in your teeth, working to break the bonds that hold them together.
This leaves you with a bright, white smile!
Porcelain Veneers/Laminates
Veneers are a thin layer of material — in this case, porcelain — that are laid over the top of the teeth. They work to improve the appearance of teeth and protect the surface of the tooth from damage. Our veneers or laminates are made from dental porcelain, which will make your teeth appear brighter and whiter while improving the shape.
You will love your new smile when you choose this exciting cosmetic dentistry option!
Inlays & Onlays
Dental inlays and onlays are a type of restorative dentistry as well as a cosmetic treatment. If your teeth have areas that are discolored by cavities, an inlay or onlay can be placed over to protect that tooth and enhance its appearance. Inlays are used for smaller areas of the tooth, while onlays are placed over the entire top of a tooth.
Both of these treatments can make your tooth whole again, improve your dental health, and help smile confidently!
Full Porcelain Crowns
Porcelain crowns are the next step after an inlay or onlay and are applied with an entire tooth crown (the visible portion of the tooth we see above the gumline) needs to be protected or perfected.
If a tooth has undergone some serious damage and decay, a crown is a great option that will cover the damaged tooth with a natural-looking material that recreates a tooth perfectly!
