Restorative Dentistry

We use our teeth a great deal throughout our lives. We need them to help us communicate and consume food. When our teeth aren’t able to do one or both of those two very necessary things, we have ways to fix them.

Thanks to restorative dentistry with Carol Pacheco D.D.S., you can regain the proper function and look of healthy teeth!

What Is Restorative Dentistry?

Restorative dentistry applies rehabilitation techniques and procedures to teeth or their surrounding structures in instances where they have experienced disease or have been otherwise damaged.

Put into practice, our team will work to restore a patient’s damaged or missing teeth, returning your smile to its original healthy state. In addition to restoring that which has been lost, restorative dentistry also works to prevent future instances of disease, decay, and/or loss of teeth.

Types of Restorative Dentistry at Carol Pacheco D.D.S.

If you or a friend or loved one deals with the pain and discomfort associated with a missing tooth/teeth or a tooth infection, don’t wait to come see us. Because we use our teeth constantly in our day-to-day lives, many people need a restorative treatment at some point or another.

We offer the following types of restorative dental treatments:

  • Crowns & Bridges.
  • Tooth-Colored Restorations.
  • Implant Restorations.
  • Partial and Full Dentures.

Crowns & Bridges

A dental crown is a type of cap that can be placed over a tooth, entirely covering it. This can be necessary in the event your natural tooth is threatened by disease or decay. Our dental crowns are made to look exactly like a natural tooth.

Dental bridges are used to replace missing teeth and are attached to adjacent natural teeth or implants for support. They function and look like your own teeth.

Tooth-Colored Restorations

Composite fillings, dental inlays, and onlays function as a restorative treatment as well as a cosmetic one. They can be used to fill holes in damaged teeth or provide damaged teeth with structure. The tooth-colored shade helps them blend in with the rest of your smile!

Implant Restorations

A dental implant is a surgical component that interfaces with the jawbone and supports a dental prosthesis. Although we don’t place dental implants, we work closely with your oral surgeon to place the crown on the implants to help you regain a full smile.

Partial and Full Dentures

We offer partial and full dentures at our practice. Partial dentures work best for patients who still have some of their original teeth, while full dentures are sets of teeth used by patients who have no original teeth left.
